Personalized Nutrition Women’s Hormone & Metabolic Health

Feel likeyourself again.

Somewhere in the last few years, your energy, your sleep, your strength, and the way your clothes fit stopped cooperating.

Nothing about you is broken. Your biology changed, and your plan never did. Dr. Nina builds clinical nutrition care around the whole picture of your health, so the way you eat finally matches the body you have now.

Where the change shows up first

Three systems carry most of what women feel in perimenopause and menopause. They are also three places where nutrition does real, well-studied work.

Bone health

Estrogen helps protect bone. As it declines, bone can be lost quietly, years before anything shows up on a scan. What you eat, and the strength you build, are two of the levers you actually hold.

Muscle health

In midlife, your body becomes less responsive to the protein you eat, so the meals that held your strength at 35 may not hold it at 52. That is biology, not a discipline problem, and it responds to a plan.

Metabolism

Hormonal shifts change how your body stores and spends energy. The answer is not eating less and less. It is understanding what your body is doing now, and feeding it accordingly.

Nutrition that reads the whole picture

Generic programs look at your plate. Clinical nutrition looks at you. Before Dr. Nina recommends anything, we sit with everything that shapes how your body is responding to food right now.

Then we make sense of it together, piece by piece, until the puzzle starts to look like a plan.

  • Your symptoms and how they pattern across your days
  • Your health history the long version, not the intake-form version
  • Your labs reviewed and explained in plain language
  • Your medications and supplements kept in view; decisions about them stay with your prescriber
  • Your body composition muscle and bone density trends via InBody analysis, tracked over time as information, never a diagnosis
  • Your food preferences and your table the way you actually like to eat
  • Your schedule and season of life a plan that ignores your reality is not a plan
  • Your goals, in your words what feeling like yourself would actually mean
  • Nutrigenomic testing, when appropriate an optional layer of context, with proper consent, never a requirement

You will not be handed a meal plan and sent away

You have heard every version of the promise. The program, the template, the influencer protocol that worked for someone twenty years younger with entirely different biology. You were asked to fit the plan. When it did not hold, you were told to try harder.

This practice works in the opposite direction. We start with your labs, your history, and your life, and we build the plan around you. Dr. Nina calls it your blueprint: a realistic strategy for your biology, your preferences, your schedule, and your goals, built with you and adjusted with you as your body responds.

You are not following orders here. You are learning how your own body works, with a clinician beside you.

Food is not the enemy.

She knows the feeling from the inside

Dr. Nina was fourteen when a thyroid condition changed her body in a single year, and the only guidance she received was two words: diet and exercise. No explanation. No plan. Just the feeling of leaving that office lost.

She built her practice so that no woman ever leaves a nutrition conversation feeling that way again.

More than twenty years in hospitals and transplant clinics taught her how to read the hardest cases. A doctorate in clinical nutrition taught her what the evidence actually supports. Her own kitchen, an Italian and Ukrainian family table where food was love, taught her that a plan you cannot live with is not a plan.

Meet Dr. Nina

You, again.

Science, Not Bias

Nutrition headlines are engineered to sell. Dr. Nina’s newsletter takes one claim at a time, about hormones, bone, muscle, or metabolism, and walks through what the evidence actually says in plain language. No hype, no products, no shame.

Start the conversation

A Fit Call is a conversation, not a commitment. We will talk about what is going on, what you have tried, and whether this practice is the right fit for you. That is the whole agenda.
