Nutrigenomics & advanced insights

Two women can drink the same cup of coffee and process the caffeine at very different speeds, partly because of differences written into their genes. Food works the same way. Nutrigenomic testing offers a look at some of those differences, so your blueprint can account for them.

One tool, inside a much bigger process

Genetic information is context, not a verdict. On its own, a report is just pages. Inside the whole picture, alongside your symptoms, history, labs, medications, and life, it can help explain why your body responds the way it does and sharpen the choices we make in your blueprint.

That is why testing at this practice is never sold as a standalone answer. It is an optional layer for clients whose plans would genuinely benefit from it, added when it serves the work, and skipped when it would not.

What testing is, and what it is not

Is genetic testing required to work with Dr. Nina?

No. It is optional, always. Many clients build excellent blueprints without it. If testing would genuinely add context for your situation, Dr. Nina will explain why, and the decision stays yours.

Will my results diagnose anything?

No. Nutrigenomic results are not a diagnosis and are never used as one here. They describe tendencies in how your body may process certain nutrients. Anything in your health picture that needs medical evaluation belongs with your physician, and Dr. Nina will say so plainly when that is the case.

What about consent and privacy?

Genetic testing happens only with your informed consent, through the appropriate consent and privacy workflow, which we walk through together before anything is ordered. Your genetic information is yours. The specific consent documents are reviewed with you as part of the process.

How does InBody body composition fit in?

InBody analysis estimates muscle mass and body fat and tracks how they change over time. It is a progress instrument, not a diagnostic one: it helps us see whether the plan is building the strength it is designed to build, which a bathroom scale simply cannot show.

Wondering whether testing would serve you?

That is a conversation, not a checkout page. Ask about it in your consult and you will get a straight answer.
