DRAFT — not for use

For healthcare professionals

For physicians and referral partners

Your patients need more nutrition time than a clinic visit can hold. Dr. Nina G. Rocca, DCN, RDN, LDN, FAND, provides the individualized medical nutrition therapy you cannot staff, and she stays rigorously in her lane while doing it.

A clear clinical lane

Scope, stated plainly

Dr. Rocca does not diagnose, prescribe, or adjust medications. Your patient’s medical management stays entirely with you. She builds the individualized nutrition plan that supports it, and with the patient’s authorization, keeps you informed of the nutrition work as it progresses.

Her background: a Doctor of Clinical Nutrition with more than twenty years of hospital and transplant-clinic practice, a Registered and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist, and a Fellow of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She is licensed in Florida, New York, Massachusetts, Indiana, and Texas, and practices by telehealth.

Patients who tend to benefit

Her practice centers on women navigating perimenopause and menopause, with particular depth in nutrition for bone health, muscle preservation, and metabolic change.

  • The patient asking nutrition questions you do not have appointment time to answer well
  • Perimenopausal and menopausal women experiencing body-composition, energy, or metabolic changes
  • Patients with bone-health concerns who need the nutrition side of the plan handled thoroughly
  • Complex pictures multiple medications, layered histories, patients who need their labs translated into an eating pattern
  • Motivated patients who will do the work if someone builds the plan with them, not for them

How collaboration works

You keep the medicine. Diagnoses, medications, and medical monitoring remain yours. Dr. Rocca reinforces that boundary with patients directly.

She keeps you informed. With patient authorization, you receive concise updates on the nutrition plan and the patient’s progress, in the format that suits your workflow.

Your patient gets time. The deep review, the individualized blueprint, and the ongoing behavior-change support that make nutrition recommendations actually stick.
