Frequently asked questions
You should know what you are stepping into.
Start with the questions that matter before you decide whether to talk. You do not need to identify the right program on your own, and a Fit Call is not a clinical intake.
Is this a fit?
Who does Dr. Nina work with?
Rocca Health is designed for women in perimenopause and menopause who want individualized clinical nutrition care for hormone and metabolic health. Dr. Nina is licensed to provide care in Florida, New York, Massachusetts, Indiana, and Texas.
What if I only know that something has changed?
That is enough to begin the conversation. You may be noticing changes in energy, sleep, appetite, strength, body composition, or how you respond to approaches that used to work. The first step is to understand your experience before deciding what kind of support may fit.
Is this a weight-loss program?
No. Weight and body-composition changes may be part of what you want to understand, but Rocca Health does not use rapid-weight-loss promises or a one-size-fits-all diet. The work begins with your whole picture and stays within individualized clinical nutrition care.
What if I have already tried diets, plans, or supplements?
You do not need to arrive with a blank slate. What you have tried, what helped, what did not, and what was difficult to sustain are all useful parts of the picture. The goal is not to repeat a generic plan with more intensity.
Where do I begin?
Do I need to choose a service before the Fit Call?
No. The Fit Call is where you and Dr. Nina talk about what has changed, what you have tried, and what kind of support you are looking for. You can discuss the two one-to-one care paths without committing to either one.
What is the difference between the VIP Experience and The Rocca Method?
The VIP Nutrigenomics Experience concentrates interpretation and blueprint-building into one focused experience. The Rocca Method is a six-month relationship for building, using, observing, and adjusting the plan over time. Neither path is a prerequisite for the other.
Is the VIP Experience required before The Rocca Method?
No. They are two legitimate ways to begin. The better fit depends on whether you want a concentrated experience or an ongoing clinical relationship from the beginning.
Can the VIP Experience lead to ongoing care?
It can lead to a conversation about what support may make sense next. Any ongoing relationship is discussed separately rather than assumed as part of the VIP day.
What does care involve?
What information does Dr. Nina review?
The relevant picture may include your history, symptoms, labs, medications, supplements, food patterns, body-composition information, preferences, goals, and daily life. What is useful depends on the person and the work.
Will I receive a generic meal plan?
No. Your nutrition strategy is built with you from the information that is relevant to your situation. The exact materials and level of detail vary because the work is not organized around a standard template.
What is the blueprint?
The blueprint is a working document that brings together priorities, nutrition direction, practical next steps, and questions that may belong with your medical team. It is meant to be understandable and usable, not a report that disappears into a folder.
Can the plan change?
Yes. In ongoing care, the plan is expected to meet real life. The Rocca Method creates time to notice what is workable, review relevant changes, and adjust the strategy together.
Testing and medical care
Is nutrigenomic testing required?
No. Advanced information is used only when it is appropriate and useful. The VIP Nutrigenomics Experience includes nutrigenomic testing, but your history, symptoms, labs, medications, food, preferences, and life remain essential context.
Can a DNA report diagnose a condition or determine my diet?
No. A DNA report is not a diagnosis, a prescription, or a complete nutrition plan. When used, it is one source of context that Dr. Nina interprets alongside the rest of your information.
Will Dr. Nina change my medications?
No. Diagnosis, prescribing, and decisions to start, stop, or adjust medication remain with your physician or other prescriber. Dr. Nina works within clinical nutrition and, when appropriate and authorized, alongside your medical team.
Should I keep working with my physician or prescriber?
Yes. Rocca Health does not replace your physician or other prescriber. Nutrition care is designed to work alongside your medical care.
Practical details
What happens on the Fit Call?
It is a 15-minute conversation about what has changed, what you have tried, and what kind of support you are looking for. It is not a clinical intake. Please do not include health details in the booking form.
How much does care cost?
Investment is discussed during the Fit Call.
Where is clinical information shared?
Clinical information belongs in Rocca Health’s designated client-care system, not in a marketing form, email signup, or public message. The Fit Call form asks only for the information needed to arrange the conversation.
What if I am not ready for a conversation?
You can take the free two-minute Metabolism Check to notice patterns across sleep, energy, appetite, and strength. Your result appears immediately, and no email is required.
What if Rocca Health is not the right fit?
The Fit Call is meant to clarify fit, not force an offer decision. If the scope or format is not right for what you need, the next step may be to continue with your existing medical team or seek a different kind of support.
Still deciding?
Bring the question you actually have.
You do not need a polished health story or a program selected before you talk with Dr. Nina. Start with what changed and what you wish someone would help you understand.
